Update von 4.4 auf 4.9 schlägt fehl - warum?

ausi/contao-slug-backport wird nicht mehr benötigt
bugbuster/contao-visitors-bundle ist verwaist

Ich versuche gerade diese beiden aus der composer.json zu entfernen.

Du solltest außerdem über die Systemartung ein komplettes Composer Update machen.

Vielen Dank Fritz. Ich habe es jetzt irgendwie hinbekommen, frag mich nicht wie. Ich hatte auch diesen Thread hier gesehen

und daraufhin schon dieses Composer-Update gemacht. Hatte aber wie magic77 auch erstmal keinen Erfolg.

Hatte dann mit der Manager-Systemwartung diverse Bereinigungen vorgenommen und in der composer.json erstmal alle Erweiterungen gelöscht und dann auch das contao/manager-bundle von "4.4.*" auf "^4.9" geändert. Dadurch hatte ich dann aus Versehen 4.11 installiert. War mir nicht klar, aber im Endeffekt hat es dann geklappt. Die Erweiterungen hatte ich dann nacheinander wieder installiert.

Ich denke ich lasse es jetzt erstmal bei der Version 4.11.2, obwohl ich 4.9 wollte, habe den Constraint auf "4.11.*" gesetzt, ich denke dies ist richtig und somit bleibe ich jetzt erstmal in Version 4.11., oder?

Ich habe bei Strato mit Contao 4.7 und PHP 7.4 leider exakt das gleiche Problem. Die Konsole zeigt an, dass das Update über die Composer Cloud fehlerfrei durchläuft, die Installation des Composers bleibt jedoch in einer Endlosschleife ohne Fehlermeldung stecken. Ich habe die Composer Tasks mehrfach gelöscht und auch über die Systemwartung Cache etc. geleert - jedoch ohne Erfolg. Das Contao Manager Bundle steht auf 4.9.*

Hat evtl. noch jemand einen Tipp?

Strato-Standard: Der Webserver killt den Hintergrund-Prozess, weil die Ressourcen zu knapp sind. Entweder zu einer Zeit probieren, wo weniger los ist auf dem Server (abends, nachts) oder ohne Manager per SSH in der Konsole.

Sollte aber unabhängig von diesem conflict heute nicht mehr auftreten, da das im Paket schon behoben und mit einer neuen Version released wurde.

Ich sehe zwar - Upgrading php-http/discovery (1.15.1 => 1.15.2) - in der Konsole, hänge aber leider trotzdem noch immer in einem endlosen Composer Update fest.

Trage den conflict mal mit >=1.15 ein, dann composer update, dann wieder entfernen, dann wieder composer update.

Probier das Update doch mal ohne Contao-Manager per Konsole (SSH). Oder, falls die Resolver-Cloud bereits die composer.json neu geschrieben hat, auch nur ein composer install per Konsole.

Wenn ich die conflict von <1.3 auf >1.15 stelle, bleibt der Composer gleich in der ersten Update-Schleife hängen und ich komme nur durch das Löschen des Tasks raus.
Einen Zugriff auf die Konsole habe ich momentan leider nicht, ansonsten hätte ich "$ composer update" versucht.

Ja, ich war zuerst an der falschen Stelle unterwegs ...

Wenn ich in der composer.json den conflict "php-http/discovery": ">=1.15" eintrage und das Composer-Update starte, bleibt der Prozess hängen. Lösche ich den Eintrag wieder und starte das Composer-Update erneut, ebenfalls. Ich sehe allerdings in der Konsole, dass jeweils ein Downgrade / Update stattfindet. Gleiches passiert auch, wenn ich zwischenzeitlich den Cache leere.

Poste die Konsolenausgabe.

Auch mit der aktualisierten composer.json bleibt der Composer leider bei "composer install" ohne Fehlermeldung in einer Endlosschleife hängen.

Mit Endlosschleife meine ich, dass der Prozess der Paketaktualisierung nicht abgeschlossen werden kann und dass man bspw. nicht zur Datenbankaktualisierung etc. weitergeleitet wird. Der Contao Manager bleibt (auch bei einem Neustart) bei der Paketaktualisierung hängen, bis manuell die task.json gelöscht wird. Das passiert unabhängig davon, ob man nur den Composer oder das System inkl. Erweiterungen (innerhalb der Version oder mit Versionssprung) im Testlauf aktualisiert.

Auch bei einem Update auf Version 4.13 inkl. Erweiterungen läuft es nicht anders und der Update-Prozess wird anscheinend nicht korrekt abgeschlossen, jedoch ohne Fehlermeldung.

Versuche es mal ohne Cloud Resolver.

Das Ergebnis ohne Cloud Resolver ist zwar das Gleiche, ich erhalte aber andere Hinweise zum Composer Update.

Dann lande ich wieder exakt bei der Konsolenausgabe aus meinem Beitrag davor. Mehr passiert auch mit geleertem Cache etc. nicht.
