ich verzweifel langsam ich versuche die Erweiterung Pageimage zu installieren bekomme aber follgende Fehlermeldeung

Ja, du musst zuerst alle Pakete zum Update markieren, dann die Extension hinzufügen und erst dann die Änderungen anwenden.

Hm jetzt habe ich ein seht komisches Verhalten. Ich bekomme zwar keine Fehlermeldung mehr - aber installiert wird da auch nichts :-(

auch in der der composer.json steh die Ereiweiterung nicht drin.

Naja, der Contao-Manager hat sie jedenfalls installiert, als letztes Paket.

Taucht aber weder in den Paketen noch in der composer.json auf

Bei DB Update will Contao die auch löschen

Also da verstehe ich jetzt einiges überhaupt nicht. Eine Erweiterung, die nicht installiert ist und die somit keine Datenbanktabellen oder -spalten verursachen kann. Und dann werden beim Datenbank-Update deren Tabellen/Spalten gelöscht? Wo kommen die denn her?

Sorry das ist ein Update von einer 3.5.40 und an der Stelle hänge ich jetzt seid stunden

Mach es einfach nochmal. Also alle Pakete zum Update markieren, Extension hinzufügen, Änderungen anwenden.

Mit und Ihnen alle Pakete. Ich habe sogar versucht pageimage zuerst zu installieren. Das gleiche. Wenn ich pagimage mit allen installiere auch das gleiche.

Lt. Manager passt alles aber installiert wird nix.

Dann am besten die composer.lock einmal löschen und dann noch einmal alles neu installieren lassen. Wenn das auch nicht hilft kann man eventuell noch den kompletten vendor-ordner löschen und es noch einmal probieren oder gleich noch einmal komplett neu beginnen.

Php habe ich auf der Subkontinent über die htaccess angehoben (von 7.2) kann es daran liegen? Der Manager zeigt 7.4

Also das Problem liegt bei Strato das in der PHP Version 7.4 eine PHP Erweiterung fehlt ext-sodium.

In Verbindung mit fietsch und der Antwort von Spooky lief es irgendwann.
