Abstand Links ca 10% Fehler

Moin Moin,

ich stehe momentan auf dem Schlauch.
Ich habe eine Navigation mit folgenden Werten:

.navigation {
width:100%;
position:fixed;
padding:10px;
background-color:#ff2600;
z-index:1;
}

komischerweise entsteht immer auf der linken Seite ein ca 5-10% Abstand.

Ich habe sonst keine Margin-lefts oder irgendetwas im wrapper content etc.
Warscheinlich ist es derbe simpel aber ich übersehe es gerade.
