1und1 Installationsproblem Datenbankverbindung

Neuling bittet um Hilfe.

Habe versucht contao 3.4 bei 1und1 zu installieren, bekomme aber keine Datenverbindung.
Meldung:

htaccess-Hinweis habe ich probiert - kein Resultat
Was mache ich da falsch?

Die Lösung steht schon in der Fehlermeldung: "Unknown MySQL server host 'localhost:/t ...."

"localhost" ist als DB Server Host nicht zulässig ... der heißt irgendwas wie "db1234.db.1and1.com" (musst in 1&1 Konfiguration nachschauen)

danke für Deine Antwort, hat leider nicht geklappt.
Aber der Kundensupport von 1und1 konnte kompetent helfen.

Die Lösung für alle mit diesem Problem:
Erzeuge mit einem Texteditor eine php.ini - Datei mit folgendem Inhalt:
mysql.default_socket = /tmp/mysql5.sock
und speichere sie im root-Ordner deiner Domain und in den Contao-Hauptordnern (assets,contao,files ...)

Naja, wenns funktioniert ... Hast du dabei dann das "localhost" als server host stehen lassen?
Allerdings habe ich das in Dutzenden Installationen bei 1&1 bisher noch NIE eingetragen und es hat noch jedesmal funktioniert mit dem Datenbankserver, der bei der entsprechenden Datenbank angegeben ist im Control Center.
Egal, die php.ini wirst du sowieso noch um weitere Einträge ergänzen müssen, wenn es an die Komprimierung der Daten geht.

Das stimmt so nicht, das liegt am bestellten "Paket". Jedenfalls mit einem eigenen Managed Server kann man sehr wohl auch ein "localhost" verwenden. Denke die db.1und1.com DB Server werden vorallem im Shared-Hosting verwendet.

Stimmt, auf Managed Servern ist das so.
