Hallo,
ich habe hier eine Contao 4.4 Version laufen die ich demnächst wohl auf Contao 4.9 updaten müsste.
Für mich stellt sich jedoch die Frage, welchen Weg ich dafür nehmen sollte. Copy der Umgebung ist klar. Aber gibt es, um Abhänigkeiten aufzulösen sowas wie einen Testlauf?
Sprich Composer "mach Testlauf" und zeige mir alle Erweiterungen an, die für 4.9 nicht mehr freigeben sind?
Besteht die Möglichkeit eines Testlaufs um zu sehen welche Erweiterungen nicht mehr funktionieren werden?
Du kannst mit dem Testlauf nur die Abhängigkeiten testen. Also ob eine Extension dann noch installiert werden kann. Ob die Erweiterung tatsächlich dann funktioniert kannst du damit nicht testen.
kannst du mir noch den Befehl verraten?
Bei früheren Contao-Versionssprüngen gab es immer mal so einen Beitrag im Forum wo aufgelistet war, was sich im Vergleich zur Vorversion gravierend geändert hat.
Meist gab es da immer noch ein paar Hinweise zum Update. Zur Version 4.9 finde ich da kein angepinnten Beitrag. Gab es also keine systemrelevanten Änderungen?

Du hast bugbuster/contao-be_user_online-bundle in Version 1.x installiert. Version 1.x dieses Pakets ist aber nicht mit höheren Contao Versionen kompatibel. Du musst die Extension auf 2.x aktualisieren.
Übrigens mitkannst du nachsehen, welche direkt verwendeten Pakete out of date sind. Der Contao Manager sollte dir das aber auch anzeigen.Code:composer outdated --direct

Ich scheitere gerade daran, den Debug-Modus über das Backend zu starten. Bei mir gibt es keine .env-Datei.
Demzufolge müsste laut Anleitung ein Button für den Debug-Modus erscheinen... tut es aber irgendwie nicht.

Wenn rechts oben der Button nicht da ist, bist du entweder kein Admin oder es ist bereits eine APP_ENV Umgebungsvariable definiert. Oder du nutzt nicht die Managed Edition (da bin ich mir allerdings nicht sicher).
Also die .env Datei habe ich gelöscht...

Also ich hatte unter 4.4 den Debug-Modus laufen. Dann habe ich das Update auf 4.9 gemacht...der Button ist aber nicht da... Dann hatte ich gesehen, dass eine .env vorhanden war... die habe ich dann gelöscht...
Dennoch kein Button vorhanden...
So jetzt habe ich im Hauptverzeichnis htdocs/contaoupdate/ eine .env Datei mit dem Inhalt

Dann habe ich einmal composer install gemacht, damit er den Cache clear und symlinks etc erstellt.....
Danach habe ich mich ganz normal auf meine Domain eingeloggt... einen Debug-Modus sehe ich aber nicht...
Wie kann ich prüfen, ob die .env überhaupt greift?
Ich push das nochmal.... jemand ne idee?

Getestet habe ich auch verschiedene Browser.
In Contao 4.4 (läuft auf dem selben Server) läuft alles ohne Probleme.
Im genauen geht es um den Request auf /_wdt, da müsstest du den Reponse prüfen.

Für alle die von 4.4 auf 4.9 Updaten und eine angepasste .htaccess-Datei in der 4.4 verwenden.... Bitte dringend die .htaccess-Datei aus 4.9.

übernehmen und dann eure Anpassungen machen...
Dank der Anpassung läuft nun auch der Debug-Modus und auch der Button für den Debug-Modus ist im Backend zu sehen!
