Hast du zufällig neben dem Update auch noch versucht hschottm/tags zu installieren?
Laut Fehlermeldung wird das in deiner Root composer.json required, aber in der composer.json, die du gepostet hast ist das nicht drin.
hschottm/tags in der Version 4.9, die bei dir wohl required wird benötigt Contao 4.13. Für Contao 4.9 ist 4.6 die richtige Version von hschottm/tags.

Danke. Ja, das war´s. Steht ja alles drin, hätte ich nur sorgfälig lesen müssen...
Danke für den Hinweis auf die Version 4.6 hschottm/tags. Habe mir jetzt auch noch andere tag-Module angeschaut, für meinen Anwendungsfall funktioniert "numero2/contao-tags" auch sehr gut...
