Contao 4.2.5 - Remove homepage alias

Hello,

How can I remove the alias for the home page? I was doing this with a hook but a change in the latest update now prevents this from working as it just goes into a redirect loop.

I want the homepage of my site to be "http://www.mysite.co.uk/" but at the moment it is "http://www.mysite.co.uk/home". How do I get rid of the "home" part?

I figured this out, the home page has to have an alias of 'index'.

Yes, that's correct. The first page inside every starting point should get the alias "index".
