Hostgator hosting

Hi,

I'd like to install version 4.2.2 on a newly purchased domain. However, Hostgator just informed me that their server runs on MySqli.

Database server

Web server

Database client version: libmysql - 5.1.73
PHP extension: mysqli

According to Hostgator, there is no means to switch the server to MYSQL. Will Contao 4.2.2 run on this web-server or do I have to look for another CMS (which I would rather not do, since I have Contao running on my other two domains for ages, although lower versions.)?

Contao runs perfectly fine with MySQLi.
