Pages do not show up in Sitemap
I would like to have a normal sitemap on a website. I took the sitemap module for this but only some pages from the first level do show up now on the sitemap page.
I wanted to know now what are the exact rules for a page to show up on the sitemap?
What I figured out as well is, that the same pages do not show up in the search index either.
All pages have an alias, are published and "do not search" is not set. So I am not really sure where I should look next. Any hints?
Re: Pages do not show up in Sitemap
Do you have "Hide from navigation" checked for the pages? If they are hidden, the icon next to the page in Site structure will be grayed out. It will have red in the middle if it is not hidden.
Re: Pages do not show up in Sitemap
No, they are not hidden.
I think the problem is more that in between are redirect pages. And that the sitemap generator is struggling with this.

Try to replicate this issue on the TYPOlight demo. If you get the same problem, please submit it as a bug at http://dev.typolight.org.
Re: Pages do not show up in Sitemap
No Problem with the demo site. Could be because it is fixed in 2.8 or I have config problem on my site.
Re: Pages do not show up in Sitemap
Hi!
I test the sitemap on the contao 2.9 demosite, and it does not work.
It don't show up pages and at my own installaton at a customer ( also contao 2.9) the system stops when I put the sitemap module into an article and doesn't show that page.
Is there something wrong with the module? Or maybe someone could provide me an other sitemap template (nav_temp.tpl) which actually works!
Any solutions, or am i doing something wrong?
If you have any questions feel free to ask me.
Best regards,

Are you sure?
For instance if you put it on a page or in an article that is protected to a certain membergroup, it won't show unless your logged in as a member of that group.
Re: Pages do not show up in Sitemap
Hi Ramjet,
Of course - I know that, but i put in in an article on a normal page as a module.
So no member protection or only view for anonymus users.
But is there some kind of setting you really have to make? maybe i forget something or doing something wrong...

You refer to the Contao Online Demo or to a own demo installation?

"...the system stops..." in the meaning that you get a blank page? If so, you have to enable the option "Display error messages" in the "Settings".
Re: Pages do not show up in Sitemap
Hi,
Today i checked again the sitemap module in the demo.contao.org site.
I've first made the module called sitemap. See Screenshot for settings Schermafbeelding 2010-12-14 om 14.18.07.png[/attachment:3ilbc80v] and Schermafbeelding 2010-12-14 om 14.18.16.png[/attachment:3ilbc80v]
After saving the module i've add it to an article of the homepage. Select module, sitemap and published it.
The result was this :Schermafbeelding 2010-12-14 om 14.18.07.png[/attachment:3ilbc80v]
Why is it not working, or am i doing something wrong!?
Looking forward to your response,

Hi Artified,
try to disable the option "Start from website root" in the "Sitemap" front end module settings.
