Splitting form over several pages

Hi,

I would like create form which is split over several pages. The easiest thing for the back-end users later on would be if they are several forms which always point to the next page. At the end an email should be generated.

Is this possible to realize in typolight? I already wrote some small extension, so I would create another one if needed. But I didn't find any information how I could get some information from the first form if the user is at the third step.

Or is it possible to somehow fill some hidden fields in the form on the second page with the values from the first form?
