Member fields data display order
Hi everyone,
is there a way to alter the order the data filled in for a member is displayed in the frontend?
Example
The system shows this:
Name: John
Family name: Doe
Address: Wall Street
Zip Code: XXX
Website: www.johndoe.com
I'd like to reorder the fields like this:
Name: John
Family name: Doe
Website: www.johndoe.com
Address: Wall Street
Zip Code: XXX
Thanks for any suggestion.
Dan

Sorry if i bump, but it seems like none has the slightest idea on how to solve this problem....
Re: Member fields data display order
Which module Dan?
Registration?
Re: Member fields data display order
Hi ramjet,
no, I am talking about the built-in members module, when we display (on a webpage) the public fields that are set in the backend.

Re: Member fields data display order
where is the setting to display those fields in the first place?
Re: Member fields data display order
Login to backend, > Account Manager > Members;
Then Pickup a member;
Scroll down to Public Profile
Tick or untick the public fields.
There is the place where I want to rearrange the fields.
Thank you,
Dan
Re: Member fields data display order
Not in my installation - theres no public profile/public fields.
I think it may be an added module.
In fact, most likely the "memberlist" module.
You could try two things.
1. It will have a template, which you could possibly find and rewrite in Templates.
2. It may be picking up the order of the registration fields in your "registration" module - you could try rearranging them using the green arrows, and see if this does it.
I'm helping you blind I'm afraid!

This is the memberlist module which has been part of the core distribution before version 2.8.
Thats why I can't see it!
The template(s) should begin with mod_memberlist, but i think the rearranging with arrows might do it.
Re: Member fields data display order
Thank you ramjet for your suggestions.
Unfortunately there is no way to rearrange them with the arrows but I will try working out a solution with the templates.
