Price rules and variants

I have a simple price rule for all products of one category. The products have variants.

When i select a product and a variant i can see the to crossed out original price and the valid price.

But before i have choosen a variant there is no information that there is a special price for this product. Is there a possibility to recognize if there are special prices for variants in the iso_list_default.tpl or the iso_reader_default.tpl in order to place an icon via css or to show the crossed throug original price and the valid price already in this view?
