Each new form has to be manually allowed for user group?

Hi

Is there a way to automatically allow new forms for user groups instead of manually going to the Form permissions -> Allowed forms? Our user group can create new forms (copy existing ones and modify them, to be specific), but the form doesn't show up in the Form generator-list until the permissions are set afterwards. Am I doing something wrong?

That's IMO a bug. You might solve it using some DCA, onsave_callback and some custom(?) code (for updating the member table).

Give it a try. I think there was a (german?) ticket on the same issue with the news and event module but I cannot find it.

Well, that was too quick. It seems to be a problem with our local installation, since everything works fine in the online demo.

Leo suggested synchronizing my installation. I'm not quite sure what that means, since we're up-to-date with our Typolight Version (2.7.2). Does synchronizing have another meaning besides being up-to-date?

Synchronizing means checking an installation and uploading missing or updating old files.

didn't work.
here's what i did (on our test server):

1. downloaded the newest version from here:
http://www.typolight.org/download-typolight.html

2. made backup copies of the files mentioned here:
http://dev.typolight.org/wiki/Tutorials ... stallation

3. extracted the files from the downloaded typolight package, replacing all existing files

4. restored the previously backupped files

5. went to xxx/typolight/install.php and updated the db.
there were two steps involved - first altering some existing tl-tables. i did that, tried, and it still didn't work (newly created forms not showing up in the form generator list).
second step was a proposal to drop two of our own tables where we store our data. i did that, just to see if it matters - but still it doesn't work.

6. checked everything with diff, all the files except for the ones that i backupped and put back after the copy process are the same as in the typolight-2.7.2 package

Any ideas?
