Back end appearance - problems with style sheets

Hello.

I have a sneaky problem with the appearance of the back end of the CMS application. I've installed it on my server, for testing purposes, and when I logged in on my back end admin panel the page doesn't follow the rules set by the css files. It was a little bit odd during the installation process because install.php also wasn't styled. I've used Firefox 3.5.1 to install it and Opera 9.64 to see if I get the same result. I got it, no styles either. Also I've checked again with FF 3.0.12 on my Linux machine. Same result.
The files' permissions were preserved after the FTP files transfer, but I think that something went wrong during the file transfer.

I am thinking to reinstall the application and see if the error is still present, but I'll do it tomorrow.
