Nominations close September 11 and voting runs from September 21 - October 30, but in order to get TL on the voting list of finalists, it needs to be a popular nominee first!

...just plugged two nominations for Best Overall and Best PHP system myself. :)

I have been thinking a lot about the MVP category and I now believe that it means "most valuable person besides the founder". At least in 2008, no founders were nominated, so I suggest that we nominate the most valuable person besides me :)

In 2008, Peter Koch was the MVP in my opinion, because he contributed the Extension Repository. I am somehow feeling bad, because I know today that he should have won last year's award.

In 2009, Nina Gerling is the MVP in my opinion, because she not only took over the forum and added a lot of extra information, she also created typolight-handbuch.de, a high quality user guide for editors which will also be available as a real book in 2010.

I'd be very happy if the community would nominate either Nina or Peter (or both?) instead of me, because they really deserve it!
