Navigation Menu w/ Subpages of Current Page

I would like to create a menu that only shows the main pages, like this:

Home
About
Contact
Calendar

And then when you click on one of the items, like "About" it will show that items sub-pages in the menu, but none of the other pages' subpages:

Home
About
- story
- goals
- vision
Contact
Calendar

But what I've found with the Navigation module is that the menu either always shows the subpages, or never shows the subpages. Is there a way to accomplish what I want with the Navigation module?

you need the stoplevel 0f 1.
