Catalog tags

Hi to all,

I have a question for you.
Is it possible to use catalog tags, like {{catalog::cartype}} in my page where is present the catalog Reader?
And can i use it in custom templates (i.e. cat_cars.tpl)?

I tried it, but this dosn't work for me.

The tags are there, but only used in the WHERE and ORDER (i think) sections. Its not necessary to have inserttags when the data array in the template context, already contains all the catalog parameters, e.g. $entries['0']['data']['cartype']['value']
