Hi

the back link is generated using the standard TL's referrer, this is TL specific and is provided to all developers as the correct way to reach the "back" button. If you are having problem, you could simply modify the TPL file for your gallery_full.tpl to display a link with a javascript action window.history(-1); instead of using the referrer link.
I've had this problem with TL from many times before, so with various browsers and other situations the BACK link hasn't been consistent.
OK, thanks for the support
have a nice day
I am looking to place that javascript link in my gallery_fullsize.tpl...
But I cannot trace the backlink anywhere.
Why does the news template use the javascript backlink and the gallery another way?
Actually the gallery's mod_galleryviewer.tpl template has an almost identical structure to the mod_newsreader.tpl template, so its pretty much equal.
Thank you for your fast answer.
I was looking in the wrong tpl files.
But this is confusing me a bit more.
Indeed the two templates are identical concerning the back link.
However, with the gallery in front end it refers to "tl_files/scripts/sfhover.js" instead of the previous page. It is working fine for the news module.
What could be the trigger for this behaviour?
