error loading homepage

I just installed typolight on a windows 2003 server with apache 2 php 5 and mysql 5, but when I try to load the front end homepage (modern orange template installed) the browser tries charging for a while, I can see the page but the loading does not complete and then a 404 error page or a connection interrupted message page appears, same result with other example templates
If the url of internal pages is called they are charged regularly instead and also backend works fine
The Apache error log gives this line:
Apache.exe: Could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 192.168.10.1 for ServerName
and I also find messages of restarting of Apache after homepage calling by browser
Can someone tell me if there are particular configuration settings required for apache and php in order to have typolight run correctly?
