Imageslider prev and next

I have a question about imageslider.

Is it possible to have the slideshow react as follows:

when pressed next: slideshow slides to the right.
when pressed prev: slideshow slides to the left.

Now it reacts or only left or right. Or when left and right are selected in the backend the slideshow moves either way at random.
