[SOLVED] Plug-in Another Web Page
Is there a simple way with Contao to plug-in another webpage inside my own? For example, there's a blog I want to share that's from another website. Instead of linking them to that website, I want that blog page to show up in my main column when a link is clicked. Thanks in advanced!

Re: Plug-in Another Web Page
you can use an iframe for an entire document.
you'd need to allow the iframe tag in settings.

there is a module for scraping if you need part of a document, but i can't remember what its called.
i'll try and find it if iframe doesn't suit you.

This sounds like it may be an ideal solution. I'll attempt to search as well.
Is there an official name for this kind of feature I'm looking for?

Re: Plug-in Another Web Page
found it! it was made by winanscreative too (go figure  ).
the module is called Content_Popup (searched for iFrame in the repository)
It has a section to use a light box to frame a URL, so it does the entire site and not just sections of it. You don't build it as a standard module, but instead add it as an element to an article, which is simple enough for me to explain to the end user.
BTW. The end user in question is a long-time user of joomla so (just like comparing MMORPGs to someone who's played World of Warcraft all their life), I have to explain Contao in Joomla terms and persuade how "this feature is better than Joomla's * ". So far so good :D
Thanks for the push in the right direction ramjet!
