where to set the css of cart/checkout to flexible width?

Hello,

I am not using the overall static layout of 960 pixel...., but both #wrapper and #container with min. and max. width
and want also the cart (table) (and most like the follow up pages of checkout, etc.) to adjust themselves to this.
Though I looked through the isotope css for hours and varied css definitions to and fro I simply can't find a way to set the table or tds on the cart to a flexible width.
Hopefully one of you has a hint for me? :-)

What exactly is the problem? Perhaps I am getting you wrong, but this seems like a pure CSS related question. If you define the correct selector the tds will do as you please. Perhaps you can edit the templates to include some more classes where you need them if that's the problem?

So can you explain what is not working?
