hallo,
i'm new with contao... I just installed the new version... installer says everything ok... but the layout does not look like it supposed to do... neither in the frontend and backend. the backend looks like tables and not like I used to see it. Thought it is the hack but didn't work by changing the localconfig.php.

hi, sorry I was still working on it because I couldnt believe that it doesnt work. Now I tried so many things that I really need your help. I changed the folder on my server so you find contao under
http://movez.de/databank/
and the check php
http://movez.de/databank/contao-check.php
My feeling is that he doesnt use the layout from contao... something with the css... the installation is ok... that is what contao sais. Please see the image what i upload... that is how my backend looks like... I added the template music academy... the frontend also doesn't look like it should.

There is a problem accessing the script folder (error 403 status code).
So check these folders for the right access rights:
Code:system/scripts
system/tmp
system/html
system/scripts _ 755
system/tmp _ 755
system/html _ 755
should be ok?
These chmods should be okay.
Nevertheless, there are still access restrictions when retrieving files created automatically by Contao:

Is there somewhere a ".htaccess" that blocks the access?

Accessing the stylesheets directly works without restrictions:

hi... that worked... now I was looking for the backend file which doesn't have the rights which supposed to be... can't find it... my backend still looks the same... frontend seems to be ok now. Really strange on another server and an older version everything worked fine... now the right problems make it comlicated. Anyway thank you so much for your help.
May be you can give me a hint which folder that could be and which rights I supposed to give.

As I can see right now, it works (at least in the front end). What have you done so far?
When looking at the source code of the backend page, what does the base element read in the head tag?
Seems like a relative path problem, no ?
Is it a fresh install or you moved from a server to another one ?
check the system config if there's something set in the relative path to the contao folder
