missing setting for multi-language product-reader module

hi there

at the moment, i am using one single product-listing-module to display my products in DE and EN. this module auto-detects the language and displays the translated fields for the products. this feature is nice, but does not fit my needs in fact that i can only specify one target page for the product-reader in the module. if the list is displayed in EN and the user would like to see the details, he can always be pointed to one reader-page - the DE page atm.

am i missing some configuration? or can this only be achieved by copying the product-list-module for EN with another target for the reader-page?
