I think - assuming that you are on an older Contao and Mootools version - that you ran into that issue: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=784280#c10
So, I think, updating Mootools to a version greater than 1.2.5 will solve your problem. Probably the best way to do this is upgrading Contao itself to a 2.11.x version. Otherwise you could upgrade Mootools in /plugins folder.
