Building my first module, can you tell me where I go wrong

Hi,

I am building a module and following the tutorials I can find on this... I have built this (see attachment) which is just the basics.

Adding data via a backend module all went without problems.
However the frontend module does not show up, I can add it but there is no wildcard data and it is not visible at all in the front end preview.

I don't get any errors, log is clear so where have I strayed what am I doing wrong.

I've checked quickly your files.
There's no code in the compile function of your module (module_case_study_list.php) ?

Right...
So I removed that to see if I could get the wild card added in the BackEnd. My reasoning being that if there are any mistakes I made them inside the compile function.
However even the wildcard didn't show in this case... So that must mean the mistake is somewhere in what was posted right?

Or maybe not. I know to little of contao to know if it is wrong with nothing in the compile function. But I guess that isn't really helpful here. Here is a new zip with some simple code in place. Sorry about that.
