Tags Members Fatal Error after upgrade to v2.11.1

I'm getting the follow error after upgrading to Contao v2.11.1:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/frontwav/public_html/system/modules/tags_members/config/config.php on line 25

I was trying to add some tags to a News item and the error appeared when saving the changes. I deleted the "tags_members" extension, and this cleared the error immediately. Hopefully this will get fixed shortly.

Update: this error still exists after upgrade to Contao v2.11.2.
