Mootools & Mega Menu

I have been using the Mootools Navigation menu, but recently am wanting to update our site to having some submenus off of our drop down menu... Mootools Navigation doesn't seem to support this. I played around in the CSS of our menu and made it so I can see the submenus to the side of the drop down menu, but mootools seems to cut it off at the bottom of the menu, so that nothing lower than the menu can be seen... So I thought I would give mega menu a try, but it doesn't seem to have the fade in affect, it says it has it, the settings are there, but I played around with them and they don't seem to work... So if someone could either tell me what I would be looking for in the files for the mootools navigation menu to fix it, so that I could have submenus off to the side of a dropdown menu or if someone could tell me how to get the animations to work on megamenu, that would be greatly appreciated...
