unique values in formdata

Hello,

Please, forgive me for my bad english. I'm a french people.

I have setup the efg module in typolight 2.6.7, and I have some questions.
Is it possible to check if a value already exists in database before inserting new datas ?
The best would be to define some fields to be unique.

ex : if I insert a person called TOTO TATA (fields name,surname), I'd like to refuse new inserts with the
same datas.

I have the same request... I create a form [by efg], with one field that must be unique in my formdata table.
There is a way to do it?

Probably one solution is to add a hook function in config.php of the efg module.
validateForm hook for example that pass the Widget to the callback function...

I try it but i still have some errors...

I go ahead with the study...

What is the status? I someone who know how to use field as "unique"?
