Email doesnt seem to work

I have tested my form a few times, and it works in that the MySql table is filled in.

But I never get the confirmation email.

Also submit by email doesnt work.

Any ideas?

This definately works, so it must be a mail setting on your system. The "send by e-mail" feature is built-in to TL and is NOT part of FormAuto. The CONFIRMATION e-mail is the part that is in FormAuto. Try to create a standard form and just set it to "send by e-mail" then you are not using formauto. Then check your system/logs/email.log to see why the e-mail is sent/not-sent.

I've just had this issue on hostgator as they say they've improved their security and to use the sendmail feature you have to use the ip address of your server.

Wow, I'm glad I happened to come across this post because I have a client on HostGator that I will eventually be doing a TL site for that needs this feature.

Can you please give me a real-quick rundown on how you work around this issue? Does it require a code change?
