Error after update - undefined method named "executeQuery"

Hello,
I've done a fresh installation of 4.9 and after a bundle update, the Page Layout Theme throws the following error:

Internal Server Error
Attempted to call an undefined method named "executeQuery" of class "Doctrine\DBAL\Query\QueryBuilder".

I cannot reach the Page Layout Theme builder. Please advise.
