Upgrade from typolight 2.7.2 to latest contao 4.4.7

Good morning everyone

I have just come across a system I inherited at my new workplace and i need to perform the above. What is the best way to do this?

The way I see it I have 2 options:
1.) Go through the upgrades from 2.7.2 to the latest which will be a pain
2.) Sort of start from scratch and only migrate the data. Which one would be best

I am also open to other suggestions.

If you choose the first option, then these would be the steps:

• Update to Contao 3.5.38
• Update to Contao 4.4.34

BTW: Contao 4.4.7 is not the latest version.

But it might also be worth considering choosing the second option. :)

First you need to update to Contao 2.11.17 though.
