File Manager Popup reloads CatalogInput Page

Hi

We created a catalog with 3 image fields ... if I go to the backend to create a new catalog entry and click on the file-manager popup link the popup opens and I can upload an image ... but ... If I close the popup window the catalog page reloads (in IE without a warning, in FF with a warning that all data in the form will be lost). All data entered in the form before this reload takes place are wiped.

This can be extremly frustrating for users.

Any ideas how to prevent the reload (or better: reload without losing the data?)

This is a standard TL function, not part of the catalog. Train your users to first upload files and images and then add the catalog entries. This is the best solution. The next best is to save the entry befor trying to upload images or files.
