text under images

I'd like to add text under images (caption), how can I do it? using metacreator?

normally you'd need to add a "caption" field and then you can manually add it in your catalog_xxx template.

when I create field "images" I can select the option "multiple selection", and therefore I can't know how many images will be used. So I need a method to link caption with his image.

Contao provides a manual way via the meta.txt, where you can specify meta information of images/files and in that file the last parameter is a caption.

Otherwise, you have to use Contao 3 which uses a database system to add meta information directly per file.

I installed meta_editor:
1) in gallery module it works
2) in catalog module I can see description when I open popup / lightbox, but not title / caption under images
