Default Can't open the Extensions catalog or Extensions manager

    Hi

Today I couldn't open the Extensions catalog or the Extensions manager. I got the following message:
    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, support@one.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
I contacted my local host support but they couldn't help me as they weren't familiar with Contao.

Anyone encountered this problem that can help me fix it? Don't remember changing any vital files and I don't know where to start searching for the problem.

The last thing recorded in the error.log was on February 13th. So nothing from today or yesterday when I encountered this problem. The last error was about swiftmailer, don't really know what that is.

Your host should be able to tell you what the error is from looking at the server error log even if they don't know how to fix it. If you can get that information off them someone on here might be able to help.

That isn't an error message as such, it looks like a serialized array. I'm not sure why it's being output.

I would try going into Settings in the Contao backend and disabling all of the extensions. There's a section on the settings page called 'Inactive Extensions', just select all of them to disable them.

See if you can access the Extensions manager with them disabled, if you can then you know it's an extension causing the problem.

Don't forget to enable your extensions again once you're done.

Thank's punksjimmy!! That did the trick. I disabled all extensions and enabled the extensions manager and saw that I needed to update most of the extensions. By doing so the problem was solved!!!
