    Default Error message when logging into backend

    Hello,

    when logging into the backend:

    website.com/contao/index.php

    I have started to out of the blue get the error message:

    An error occurred while executing this script!

    If you are a Contao user, contact the administrator of your website.
    Open file system/logs/error.log and search for a corresponding entry.
    Open file system/config/localconfig.php and add the following line:

    $GLOBALS['TL_CONFIG']['displayErrors'] = true;

    Read the Contao FAQs or visit the Contao support page.

    Any ideas as to what I can do? I don't think anyone else has changed anything on the site, and I don't know where to go to add:

    $GLOBALS['TL_CONFIG']['displayErrors'] = true;

    at:

    system/config/localconfig.php

    Thanks,
    Andrei.

    Hello again,

    I think I have answered my own questions and know where to add the line:

    $GLOBALS['TL_CONFIG']['displayErrors'] = true;

    using Filezilla.

    Only my ftp connection doesn't work and I don't know why. I don't think you can help me with that.

    Thanks for your attention nonetheless!

    Andrei.

    That's right, establish your ftp connection first.

    That's exactly the problem, the ftp connection has completely stopped working.

    Maybe your localconfig.php file has the wrong parameters if you just came to copy your local website to your host server

    Its definitely a ftp connection server problem which I am following up elsewhere. The website has been up for 3 years. Thanks.
