XHTML or HTML5

Hi,

the Contao templates like the music academy or the modern blue by net robots use XHTML or HTML5? I'd rather learn HTML5.

If you switch FE-output in layout to xhtml all xhtml templates get used. I think that music-accademy CSS is build for both as it did not use the tag selector on new html elements but the id selector which is in both cases e.g. '#header'.

For iNet Robots templates you have to ask the developer directly.

Well, both are pretty the same because they are still HTML. If I were you, I'd go with HTML5 because it's more elastic than XHTML and the syntax isn't that much strict. Now all browsers support HTML5, so why stay with the old XHTML?
