    Default Slideshow and minifying

    Hello

I am upgrading a web from the 2.9 to the 2.11 version and I have a problem with the Slideshow2 extention.
If I check minify the markup then the extention doesn't work anymore.

    What could I do ?

    Thanks

I remember there's a BOM in original CSS file in plugins folder. Try to open this file, save it again without BOM and try again. The Author will create files without BOM in next version.

    ... BOM ?..
    Sorry I don't understand BOM...

And looking (quickly) at the CSS file I don't see "special" things.

What I've noticed is that when the html is compressed only one image appears in the source code.

    Thanks

You can't see the BOM when you open the file in your editor. Please try to save the file without BOM and try again.

Well, thank you for the lesson (BOM).

I opened the css file in pspad, but I couldn't see any BOM. I saved it just in case, but it didn't change anything

I hope that the author will provide a new version soon....

You can also try extension bom_checker. Put your file into a folder, that gets checked by bom_checker, first.

You also should check the console in firebug to see javascript errors. Maybe there's something bad in the js file that is incompatible with contaos minimizing function.
