    Default Insert tags - How to

    I have a problem with inserting Contao tags in my custom layout...
    Can someone please explain how to use insert tags properly?
    How to include articles in page layout, for example... (all of them?)

    https://contao.org/en/manual/3.0/man...ml#insert-tags

    Example: You create a module/Module type = personnalized HTML-code/In the HTML-code window you type {{link::back}}
    You put the module in the footer and you have the possiblity in the front end to go back to the last page.
    From the insert-tags list you can copy the string "link::back", but don't copy the brackets; type them manually {{...}}.

    To insert articles or lists of articles you'd have to create a module first (Themes->Modules) You can choose several module types and then set everything the way you need it. After doing so you can add any module into the page layout (Themes->Layouts). For more info on this see: https://contao.org/en/manual/3.0/managi ... ml#modules and https://contao.org/en/manual/3.0/managi ... ge-layouts There is also a wiki http://en.contaowiki.org/First_page

    I'm not sure if you get the system right. In Contao insert tags (which look like tags in wordpress) are hardly ever needed. Insert tags cannot be added to page layouts (which are a part of the Contao themes system).

    You can use insert tags in your templates and in content elements.
