Cannot install latest version

Hello,

I try to install the latest version of Contao (3.0.4) on my server. I apparently need to use the FTP hack because I see a form where I can enter my FTP credentials. After I do that and press Save FTP settings the page just reloads and the form is shown again (empty). I have done this 10 times now and I am positive that the credentials are 100% correct.

What can be wrong?

There are known issues concerning Contao 3.0.4, please see this thread https://community.contao.org/en/view...php?f=6&t=6071 for discussion and screen shots. As of this time, unless a repaired version is provided (3.0.5 ?), 3.0.3 is the most recent stable install.

Contao v3.0.5, just released fixes the error. You should download the new core version and reinstall the package. I would suggest deleting all files off the root first and dumping the database to ensure a clean install.
