    Default members are products

I'm making a website using isotope where the products aren't things but people. Health practitioners to be exact. When they sign up for a year their company info is displayed and clients can search for them.

So when a member signs up I need to expose 10 custom attributes to them so they can enter their particular data. And later on as well they must be able to edit their information. I've thought of creating a form that writes directly into the iso_products table but I'd rather use an api call.

Or perhaps I could expose just that one product creation page in the back end to them. But I'd rather not do that either. So how can I give read/write/edit access to each member for their product (personal) data?

I have switched my hopes over to the Extended Form Generator. It allows me to collect data in a form and store it, and it will display the data for the owner only. Now I just have to get the front end editing working and I'll be where I want to be!
