Cron only runs when logged in to backend

Hi everyone

Im using the Cron extension together with the Forum/Helpdesk extension. I have Cron configured to send "Notifications" pr. e-mail every 5 minutes.

But nothing is send. As soon as I log into the backend all the e-mails are send.

Can anyone help me here?

I have the same problem.

I have tried to call HelpdeskNotify.php from a real Cronjob at server level, but also that I can't get to work.

Unfortunately, Contao is a brilliant CMS, but support for less experienced users has vaporized over the years to almost non-existence.

If I find a solution, I'll let you know.
