Default .Active

Hi,

I'd like to understand how does the .active class work in the navigation?
I'm not using any of Contao styles except the resets.
By the way, here's the site I'm working on: www.assembly21.com
It's working OK in the main navigation, but not on the mobile version.
Do I have no choice but address this class?
And if you look at my styles, why is the a:link from the mobile nav grab the style from the #footer-text a: link? This doesn't happen if I use li a in the mobile nav rather than li a:link

Thanks a lot.

What exactly is your problem in the mobile version, or what exactly do you want to achieve?

In the default Contao Navigation, the "active" class is set on the navigation element (both the
and the ) of the page that you are currently on.
