mod_message template: how to use

Hi and happy new year!
Working on a registration flow for the members I saw that sometimes it's used a mod_message template.. when it's used and how can it be customized?

It's used for showing notifications, i.e. when an error occurs. In order to customize any template, simply go to the Templates section in the backend and create a new Template there and select the mod_message Template.
