Default A way to disable an extension?

    Hi,

Is there a native/simple way to temporarily disable an installed extension without uninstalling it?

Yes, either via System » Settings » Inactive Extensions or manually by placing a file called .skip in the extension's folder (under /system/modules).

Keep in mind that Contao might show tables or fields to be dropped during a database update after you disabled an extension. If you want to keep your data, simply do not drop any tables or fields.

That was quick and helpful. Thanks, Spooky!
