[SOLVED] 404 error page not showing?

Hi,

got the following issue, Contao 3.5.28: I got an error page for 404 and 403 errors, but it won't show, no matter what I do.

It's in the backend 404wzsf0.jpg, it's in the htaccess

### Umleitung ERROR DOCUMENT
ErrorDocument 403 https://www.example.de/error-403.html
ErrorDocument 404 https://www.example.de/error-404.html

but I still get "access denied" errors.
