Default Contao 4.6 doesn't create log files

    Hello everyone,

It's my first experience with Contao 4.6 (but I'm familiar with versions 4.5 and earlier) AND with 1und1 hoster (which is now Ionos). So I'm not really sure who to blame

I just noticed that there are no log files on the server in /var/log folder, except for one, which is dated by the date of installation (about 20 days ago).
Permissions are little different from my usual installations on all-ink, but Contao-check tool says "directories are writeable by PHP-process". The localhost counterpart installation creates log files as it should. The only settings which are different between local and server are mailer and database credentials.

    Any idea?

The directory name is var/logs, not var/log, right?

If there is no error, then of course nothing is logged there.

Of course it's var/logs, sorry for the typo...

Hmm... never thought of that... probably it's also the first time I did everything right from the very beginning

Anyway, I can see new log files now, but I also changed permissions from 744 to 755, so may be that's the reason.
