This is strange. Localconfig is a very small file either on my install or in version 2.9. version 3.x file is much bigger. there is a config.php file though on 2.9.5. all the db-information-lines...

It doesn't seem to connect to the database...

my site run on 2.9.x stopped working a few days ago. Probably something was updated on the server end, e.g. MySQL version, PHP version, whatsoever.
Any hint what I should look for or...
