Fehler: "Die Daten werden geladen..." bis zur Unendlichkeit - Strato

Hallo Zusammen,

ich habe vor kurzem das Contao Buch gekauft und eine LernDVD dazu, um mich gut einzuarbeiten.

Nun habe ich Contao installiert und vorher extra den Contao-Check auf meinen Server gespielt und es war alles im grünen Bereich.

Ich habe bei Strato das "PowerWeb Basic" - Paket.
Meine Homepage läuft schon seit nun fast 9 Jahren ohne Probleme auf dem Stratoserver. Ich möchte ungern umsteigen! Wie gesagt, habe ich den Text zuvor gemacht und mir daher auch erhofft, dass es funktioniert.

Zuvor habe ich die Page mit GoLive von Adobe erstellt und wollte nun umsteigen, weil mich das Contao-Konzept so überzeugt hat. Leider habe ich mich wohl zu früh gefreut und hoffe, dass ihr mir helfen könnt oder Tipps für mich habt.
Mein Wissen über das Internet und Server ist begrenzt, daher bitte ich nachsichtig zu sein.

Mein Problem fängt beim Erstellen eines Layouts unter Themes an. Ich habe nun alles bis zu dem Punkt abgearbeitet, dass ich alles vorbereitet habe, um ein Layout grundsätzlich einzustellen. Das heißt der letzte Schritt, den ich machen müsste, wäre unten das Häkchen bei "Statisches Layout" zu setzen. klicke ich darauf, öffnet sich ein Fenster mit Ladekreis, das mir sagt "Die Daten werden geladen..." Nach 30 Minuten pro Session habe ich nach etlichen Versuchen aufgegeben und mehrere DVDs nebenbei geguckt
Habe auf meinem Stratoserver die PHP Version von 5.3 auf 5.5 umgestellt -> ging trotzdem nichts.

Ich arbeite normal mit Firefox. Zur Probe habe ich noch den IE rausgekramt und habe hier selbiges Problem.
Mir ist bewusst, dass Strato langsamer ist, das ist mir bisher an der Performance aber lediglich zu Beginn eines Forums aufgefallen, heute merke ich von Geschwindigkeitsproblemen gar nichts mehr.

Was kann ich denn hier tun? Kann mir jemand helfen? Vielen Dank im Voraus!

hallo tut mir leid, dass ich nochmal schreibe. ich habe in einem anderen Thread gelesen, man soll unter system logs gucken und da gibt es eine errordatei. hier mal der Inhalt daraus. ich weiß allerdings nicht, was es mir sagen will :S ist immer wieder der selbe Fehler, wie es aussieht.

einen Tipp zur Hilfe hab ich leider nicht da hierfür genauere Informationen wie z. B. verwendete Contao Version nötig sind.

Momentan scheint es diverse Probleme mit DNS-Servern zu geben!
Hier im Norddeutschen ist es seit Gestern schon so.

Ein wenig Abhilfe könnten andere DNS-Server auf den Netzwerk-Schnittstellen des Servers, sowie des Rechners bringen.
Ich habe auf meinem Linux-Client die DNS-Einstellungen so vorgenommen, dass die DNS-Server von Googel (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.8.4) zuerst genommen werden, bevor auf andere zugegriffen wird. (/etc/resolv.conf)
Wer Google, als Datenkraken, nicht mag, kann sich auch für andere entscheiden. Für mich ist das nur für den Übergang.

Eine Liste von DNS-Servern findet sich im Netz.

hmm also wenn ich mich bei Contao einlogge, steht da oben drüber Contao Open Source CMS 3.0.0
Wenn das nicht die Version ist, werde ich mal nachgoogeln, wie ich an die Version komme.

@thomas: auch dir vielen Dank, ich weiß nur gerade leider nicht, was ich tun soll kann aber auch sein, dass ich gerade auf dem Schlauch stehe.


Ich habe gesehen, dass es einige ähnliche Probleme schonmal gab, aber entweder hing das dann am anderen Server, oder es wurde irgendetwas unternommen, von dem ich leider nichts verstanden habe
Tut mir leid, wie gesagt ich bin ein absoluter Neuling und versuche mich da durch zu wurschteln.

3.0.0 könnte passen, sollte im check bei der überprüfung ja leicht zu checken sein.
Ansonsten unter system/config/constants.php folgende Zeilen:

define('VERSION', '3.0');
define('BUILD', '0') 

Am besten gleich updaten... da wurde soviel gefixt - das ufert sonst aus.
