Hallo zusammen,

ich habe nach dem Start des Contao-Managers zunächst den "angemahmten" Updates für den Contao-Manager von 1.3.1 auf 1.4 zugestimmt.
Anschließend wollte ich das Paket "Datenbanksicherung" installieren. Gleichzeitig wurde das Paket "contao-components" zum Löschen vorgeschlagen.
Während der Installation trat ein Fehler auf: Abbruch.

Offensichtlich soll ein Composer-Update durchgeführt werden.... aber wie?

Wenn ich den CM neu starte, komme ich zum Composer-Update (Anhang 01):

Ein Update führt aber wieder zum Abbruch! Wenn ich den "agesicherten Modus" wähle, lande ich hier. Was kann ich tun? (Anhang 02/03)

In Deinen Bildern sehe ich erst einmal nicht wirkliche Fehlermeldungen.

Du musst bei der Umstellung auf den Composer 2 (ist mit der neuen Version des Managers der Fall) einmal alle Pakete (ggf. auch jedes einzelne) zum Update auswählen, damit die Pakete dann auch alle über Composer 2 neu aufgelöst werden.

Was meinst du mit "jedes einzelne Paket zum Update auswählen"? In der Systemwartung -> CMfehlermeldung03.jpg

Also die im ersten Post geposteten Fehler-Codemeldungen deuten für mich darauf hin, dass Du nicht alle Pakete zum Update ausgewählt hattest und es deshalb zu Problemen bei der Abhängigkeitsauflösung kommt weil es einen Mischmasch zwischen schon aufgelösten Abhängigkeiten mit Composer 1 und Composer 2.

Die drei Bilder des Managerssind eigentlich normale Bilder des Managers.
Bild 1 sagt Dir - der Manager der Manager findet scheinbar keine funktionierende Contao-Installation sehr wohl aber eine composer.json bzw. eine composer.json und eine composer.lock
Bild 2 zeigt Dir - anhand der composer.json/ composer.lock würde der Manager Contao 4.4 installieren/reparieren
Bild3 zeigt Dir - das im abgesicherten Modus einige Funktionen nicht verfügbar sind

Alle Pakete zum aktualisieren wählst Du entweder oben mit dem Button "Pakete aktualisieren" aus oder wenn das nicht möglich ist, dann hat jedes einzelne Paket einen Button "Aktualisieren" den Du anklicken musst.

Nachtrag: Das alles befindet sich unter "Pakete".

Die Auswahl "Composer-Umgebeung" -> Installieren führte ja leider zu einem Abbruch (2. Code oben)
Der "abgesicherten Modus" bietet keine Möglichkeit für "Pakete aktualisieren". Der Button ist inaktiv!

Es gibt wirklich nur die Seite "Pakete" wie in Bild02. Unten steht:
"Du hast 7 unbestätigte Änderungen - Testlauf - Änderungen anwenden"

und die Seite "Systemwartung" wie in Bild03

Heißt das, ich soll auf "Änderungen anwenden" klicken ? Irgendwie hab ich ein ganz ungutes Gefühl... und das trügt mich selten ;-)

Ich kenne Deine Installation nicht und ich weiß auch nicht was genau Du in welcher Reihenfolge gemacht hast. Insofern werde ich Dir Dein schlechtes Gefühl nicht abnehmen können

.

Bei den Installationen meiner Kunden (und auch bei meinen eigenen Installationen) habe ich immer ein funktionierendes Backup zur Hand. Das minimiert "schlechte" Gefühle aller Art enorm.

Abgesehen davon ist "Änderungen anwenden" genau das, was die Abhängigkeitsauflösung und Installation von Paketen auslöst. Musst Du also bei Installationen von Erweiterungen oder Upates grundsätzlich nutzen.

Der Vollständigkeit halber. Die Seite läuft wieder ein Update aller Pakete im abgesicherten Modus ist problemlos durchgelaufen.

Ursprüngliche Ursache war, dass nach dem beim Wechsel auf composer 2 (Contao Manager Version 1.4) nicht alle Pakete zum Aktualisieren ausgewählt wurden.
Der TO hat sich dann nicht mehr so richtig getraut etwas zu unternehmen.
Nach dem ich alle Pakete zum Aktualisieren ausgewählt habe, ist die Installation wieder gelaufen und die gewünschte Erweiterung konnte anschließend auch problemlos installiert werden.
